The 56th annual Conference for the Advancement of Mathematics Teaching (CAMT) is to be held in Houston, Texas on July 15-17, 2009, at the George R. Brown Convention Center. The Exhibits will be held in Exhibit Hall B3

Exhibit booths will measure 10’ x 10’ and be constructed of sturdy tubing 8’ tall flameproof blue back drapes and 3’ tall flameproof white side dividers. The exhibit area is carpeted with red carpet. Each booth will be furnished with one 6’ foot table skirted in white, two chairs and a 7” x 44” identification sign. The price of each 10’ x 10’ booth is $500, $350 for non-profits.  You may reserve one or more booths.  After receipt of your check or payment online, you will receive by email an exhibitor service kit from Freeman Decorating that will include order forms for shipping, furniture, electrical equipment, etc.  Booth assignments will be made in May, 2009. You will need to set up your booth on Tuesday, July 14th, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. All booths must be completely set up by 5:00 p.m. At that time everyone will be required to leave the exhibit area. Security will be provided from 8:00 a.m. Tuesday through 4:00 p.m. Friday.

In agreeing to exhibit, you will be expected to keep your exhibit open and manned during exhibit hours and abide by the enclosed guidelines. Exhibitors whose booths are vacated or dismantled in any way before 12 noon on Friday will not be allowed to exhibit next year. The exhibit times will be as follows:

Wednesday July 15 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Thursday July 16 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Friday July 17 9:00 a.m. – 12 noon

Each day you will be allowed to enter the exhibit area one hour prior to the scheduled opening time to prepare your booth. You will be expected to leave the exhibit area 30 minutes after the show closes on Thursday and Friday.

Space will be assigned in order of receipt of the correct fee. Please state your first, second and third choices of booth locations. Also, please make note if you’re planning to use electrical equipment in your exhibit space.

Name Badges will be available for five exhibitors per 10 x 10 booth. Additional exhibitors must register at the conference rate. These badges will not contain the individual’s name, only the company name. Name badges will be received at exhibitor check-in. The exhibiting company will be responsible for seeing that the badges are given to the appropriate person.

Coffee, tea, and water will be available free of charge for exhibitors in the exhibitor lounge during exhibit set up on July 8 and through the conference, July 14-17.

Don’t forget that CAMT would love for you to help support mathematics education by becoming a sponsor of CAMT. See the registration information or contact me for further details.

We hope that it will be possible for your company to join us this year; we are expecting this conference to be the best ever. If you have any questions, please write, call, or email:
