CAMT is a non-profit organization designed for the specific purpose of upgrading the quality of mathematics education in the State of Texas by presenting an annual conference for teachers and supervisors of mathematics designed to improve the knowledge and skills of mathematics teachers and supervisors.
The CAMT Board of Directors is comprised of three representatives from each of these associations: the Texas Council of Teachers of Mathematics (TCTM), the Texas Association of Supervisors of Mathematics (TASM) and the Texas Section of the Mathematical Association of America (TX MAA). The board also includes an appointed financial officer and the CEO of CAMT.
Hundreds of volunteers assist us with onsite support prior to and during the conference. Volunteer opportunities can be found within the online registration system.
